A Wider Circle and Forbright Bank announce 2023-2024 partnership
Washington, DC – August 4, 2023 – A Wider Circle, a local non-profit organization dedicated to advancing equity and addressing poverty’s root causes, has announced an annual partnership with Forbright Bank.
Also based in the Washington, DC Metro Area, Forbright Bank is a full-service bank and commercial lender committed to accelerating the transition to a sustainable, clean energy economy.

“While most think of A Wider Circle as a social service organization, we are also proud to be an environmental steward for the region,” shared Amy Javaid, A Wider Circle’s President & CEO. “Our Essential Support program redistributes furniture and other household goods to thousands of local families each year. Because the furniture we distribute is donated by local families and businesses, we kept 90,000 donated items out of landfills in 2022 alone.”
