A Wider Circle is excited to introduce a new way to strengthen our partnerships with local moving and hauling companies.

Our Preferred Partner Initiative will highlight our moving and hauling partners as an option for donors who wish to donate furniture but lack transportation to bring it to our Center for Community Service. While we do offer pick-up service, we understand that the moving process can be time-sensitive and stressful. At times, we can’t meet a donor’s specific time-frame, they may live outside of our pick-up radius, or they may have items that we are unable to accept as a donation.

This initiative will help bridge that gap, providing more flexibility for donors and allowing us to collect even more essential items for those in need.

How it works

The Preferred Partner program is designed to provide exposure and warm leads for our moving and hauling partners who are helping A Wider Circle fulfill its mission. By becoming a Preferred Partner, moving and hauling companies will gain access to a range of benefits that drive traffic, promote their services, and connect them with new customers.

Annual Fee: $500

Benefits:

Website Logo Placement & Link:

Your company’s logo will be featured on the A Wider Circle website, which receives approximately 30,000 visits each month.
A direct link to your website will be included, providing you with high visibility and traffic.

Referral List Inclusion:

Preferred Partners will be listed on a referral sheet provided to furniture donors by A Wider Circle’s Scheduling Team when we cannot meet a donor’s deadline or when donors are outside of our pick-up radius.
The referral list includes a link to your website and phone number, offering direct, warm leads from donors who are moving or downsizing and may need additional hauling or moving services.

Quarterly Social Media Posts:

The Preferred Partner program will be highlighted in quarterly social media posts featuring a link to a list of Preferred Partners, reaching A Wider Circle’s engaged followers across multiple platforms.

Annual Email Exposure:

Preferred Partners will be featured in one edition of the monthly Final Friday email sent to A Wider Circle’s mailing list of close to 30,000 individuals. This email offers a direct connection to thousands of potential customers.

Increased Community Exposure:

As a Preferred Partner, your business will gain exposure within a community dedicated to building stronger, more stable homes for those in need.
By joining this program, you align your business with a trusted, mission-driven organization.

Requirement: Program participation also requires one complimentary moving/hauling appointment per calendar year which includes picking up furniture from a donor and delivering to A Wider Circle, or picking up furniture from A Wider Circle to deliver to a client in the DC metropolitan area.

Provide Logo and Website Link. Send your company logo and website link to ensure accurate placement on A Wider Circle’s site. All of these materials should be sent to communications@awidercircle.org.
Engage on Social Media. Follow and share our posts to highlight your community commitment. We will provide you with our details so we can cross promote.
