The Public Housing Wellness
Program provides individuals living in public housing residences
with wellness programming, social activities, and basic need
items. A Wider Circle works with resident councils and the
District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA) to reach seniors,
individuals who are disabled, and families.
Additional aspects of this program include:
Access to health & wellness information
Wellness workshops covering stress & anger
management, nutrition, substance abuse, and more
Bingo, Jeopardy!, and arts & crafts programs
Provision of basic need items
Enhancement of DCHA properties with gardening
and other beautification projects
Monthly wellness brunches
   Residents particpate in Garden Day at Sibley Plaza
